Utica, N.Y. — Welcome the fall season with Munson as it hosts a First Friday event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at the Museum’s Sculpture Grove in Downtown Utica. Kick off September with your friends and an evening of arts, crafts, live music by One Day Escape, lawn games, and community. “This First Friday is a wonderful way to welcome the fall season and the many college students returning to Utica,” said Bob Mortis, director of Performing Arts at Munson. “We look forward to bringing people together in the Sculpture Grove for an enjoyable evening of music and crisp September air in the heart of our community.”
The Pratt Munson Gallery will remain open during the event where visitors can explore the Pratt Munson Faculty Exhibition, offering a glimpse into the personal art practices of Pratt Munson’s faculty featuring work in painting, design, sculpture, printmaking, video, and more.
