Service Arrangements Announced for Retired First Sergeant Michael E. Snell in Potsdam, NY
The community of Potsdam, NY, is invited to honor the life and service of Retired First Sergeant Michael E. Snell, whose service arrangements have been set for Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Calling Hours
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parishville Center Apple Orchard, located at 765 State Route 72, Potsdam, NY 13676. Please note that media coverage is not permitted during calling hours, allowing family, friends, and colleagues to pay their respects in a private and respectful setting.
Funeral Service
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at The Stables at Windy Point, 215 Sissonville Road, Potsdam, NY 13676. Members of the media are invited to attend the funeral service. Prior to the service, a member of the State Police will be available to speak to the media at approximately 12:15 PM in front of the entrance to The Stables at Windy Point.
Following the funeral, a private burial will be held for family and close friends.
The community is encouraged to join in remembering and honoring the distinguished service and legacy of First Sergeant Michael E. Snell.
