Griffo and Buttenschon to formally dedicate a portion of State Route 46 in Rome and Western to Officer Michael E. Jensen
New York State Sen. Joseph Griffo and Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon might be joined by the Jensen household, space dignitaries, legislation enforcement representatives and neighborhood members to formally dedicate a portion of State Route 46 in honor of fallen Syracuse Police Officer and Rome native Michael E. Jensen. The general public is welcome to attend.
Officer Jensen, simply 29 years previous, was killed within the line of responsibility on April 14, 2024, whereas responding to a standoff in Salina. Lieutenant Michael Hoosock of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Workplace additionally misplaced his life through the tragic incident.
