MVCC to host Adult Learner Information Session
Mohawk Valley Community College will host a special Information Session for Adult Learners on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Payne Hall Lobby at its Utica Campus. To register, visit https://visit.mvcc.edu/event/1070670.
The event — tailored for those ages 20 and older who are looking to start college for the first time, return to finish a degree, or enhance their workplace skills — provides opportunities to:
- Explore MVCC’s degree and certificate programs and free FastTrack career training.
- Get a clear picture of the admissions process and flexible enrollment options.
- Connect with academic and student support advisors.
- Learn about comprehensive resources dedicated to student success, including personalized advisement, Accessibility Resources, Veterans Services, and more.
- Learn about financial aid options, scholarships, and payment plans.
The event also offers the chance to learn more about attending MVCC for free through SUNY Reconnect, designed for New York State residents ages 25-55 who have not yet earned a college degree.
