The Maynard Fire Department is excited to announce that on Saturday, September 13, we will be hosting two important community events at our firehouse, located at 9500 Maynard Drive, Marcy, NY.
Chicken Barbecue
Starting at Noon (until sold out), our annual Chicken BBQ will take place. Dinners are $15 per meal and include half a chicken, baked beans, macaroni salad, applesauce, and a roll. Carry-out and delivery options will be available, with payment accepted via cash or Venmo (@
Free Car Seat Safety Check with NYSP
From 10 AM – 2 PM, the New York State Police will also be on-site providing free car seat safety checks with certified technicians. Families can ensure their child’s seat is the correct size and properly installed. If a seat is found to be expired, unsafe, or the wrong size, families may qualify for a free replacement seat courtesy of NYSP. No appointment is necessary.
