Hamilton College Common Ground Program Explores U.S. Immigration Policy
Free Public Program: Monday, Sept. 15, 7:30 p.m.
Clinton, N.Y. – Hamilton College’s Common Ground Program will hold its first program of the semester, U.S. Immigration Policy, on Monday, Sept. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the college’s chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
This Common Ground conversation features Emily Mendrala, former deputy assistant to President Biden and senior advisor on migration to the White House, and Jon Baselice, former vice president of immigration policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and former legal counsel to then-Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). Together, they will explore U.S. immigration policy and the merits and challenges of potential reforms. The discussion will be moderated by Mimi Geerges, host of C-SPAN’s Washington Journal.
