Enchanted Forest Water Safari Unveils New Spinning Roller Coaster for 2026 Season
Old Forge, NY – August 6, 2025 – Enchanted Forest Water Safari, New York’s largest water theme park, is excited to announce a new ride for the 2026 season – a compact spinning coaster, named Paul Bunyan’s Log Haul. This family-friendly ride is planned to open for the 2026 season and promises fun for all ages.
The new spinning coaster features a figure-eight track layout and free-spinning ride vehicles, offering a unique and unpredictable ride experience every time. With four cars seating four riders each, the coaster accommodates 16 riders per cycle, making it perfect for families and groups to enjoy together.
Paul Bunyan’s Log Haul isn’t just a name—it’s a tribute to one of the park’s most beloved icons. For decades, Paul Bunyan has stood tall at Enchanted Forest Water Safari, greeting guests with his towering presence and timeless folklore charm. It only made sense to name a ride after him, bringing his legendary strength and adventurous spirit to life in coaster form. The ride’s theming will feature vibrant nods to Paul Bunyan’s epic tales, including his faithful companion Babe the Blue Ox.
Designed with families in mind, the ride has a minimum height requirement of just 36 inches with an adult or 47″ to ride alone. Maximum height is 77″ (allowing younger guests to join in the excitement. Its compact footprint (72 ft x 35 ft) and gentle 14-foot height make it an ideal introduction to roller coasters for younger thrill-seekers, while still delivering plenty of spins and smiles for older riders.

The ride is manufactured by SBF/Visa Group, a global leader in amusement ride innovation, and distributed by Rides 4-U, known for bringing cutting-edge attractions to parks across the country.
Guests can look forward to experiencing the new coaster alongside over 50 other rides and attractions, including 33 heated water rides, classic amusement rides, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the park.
