The Oneida County Public Market is back for another vibrant summer season! Starting May 17, the market will transform the parking lot behind Utica’s Historic Union Station at the REA wing every Saturday from 9am-1pm.
This beloved community gathering spot offers the best of the Mohawk Valley – fresh local produce, meats, flowers, and baked goods from regional producers. Shoppers can also discover beautifully crafted artisan goods including jewelry, candles, soaps, and skin-care products.
The market continues its commitment to food accessibility through the Double Up Food Bucks Program, giving SNAP card holders additional funds to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. The free Power of Produce Program for kids also returns this season.
Exciting activities planned throughout the summer include:
- CCE Oneida County Master Gardener Volunteer visits
- SNAP-ed Food Demonstrations
- Children’s Museum Mobile Museum
- Yoga classes
- Live music
- Kids activities
