Curtains Up & Bases Loaded: Broadway Utica Partners with the Utica Blue Sox for a Star-Studded Night at the Ballpark
UTICA, NY – For Immediate Release— Broadway Utica is stepping up to the plate with the Utica Blue Sox for a grand slam evening of baseball and Broadway magic on Wednesday, July 9th. Curtains Up & Bases Loaded, a one-of-a-kind event is taking place at Donovan Stadium at Murnane Field. Fans are in for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, music, and fun for all ages — and the spotlight is shining bright on Broadway sensation Jill-Christine Wiley.
The evening’s festivities will kick off with a powerful performance of the National Anthem around 6:45 PM, sung by none other than Jill-Christine Wiley, a nationally recognized musical theater actress. Wiley, who hails from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has graced stages across the country in beloved productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Carousel, The Little Mermaid, The Fantasticks, and Little Women. Most notably, she starred in the traveling production of The Sound of Music, bringing the timeless character of Maria to life for audiences nationwide.
