Marcy, NY – In a powerful show of support, the Maynard Fire Department has partnered with Riverside Pools & Spas to raise funds for the Barneveld Fire Department, whose fire station tragically collapsed this winter.
Riverside Pools & Spas has generously donated a luxury outdoor grill island valued at over $10,000. This high-end system features a stainless steel finish, three powerful burners, interior halogen lighting, built-in storage, and sleek design—perfect for serious grillers and summer gatherings alike.
Raffle tickets are $10 each, and all proceeds will go directly to helping Barneveld FD rebuild their firehouse.

“This effort is more than just a fundraiser, it’s a testament to the strength of our fire service family and our community,” said Jared Pearl, Fire Chief of the Maynard Fire Department. “When one department is in need, the rest of us step up. We’re especially thankful to Riverside Pools & Spas for their generosity and community spirit.”
Barneveld Fire Chief Kevin Kalk shared his gratitude, stating:
“We truly appreciate the efforts of Riverside Pools & Spas and the Maynard Fire Department in supporting us to raise funds to be able to rebuild our station so we can continue to serve the community as we have for the last 185 years.”
Steve Chruscicki, owner of Riverside Pools & Spas, shared:
“Originally, I planned to donate the grill to support the Maynard Fire Department, but when I heard about the roof collapse at Barneveld, I immediately thought, we need to help them. Barneveld is my hometown, and I knew this was where the support was truly needed. After speaking with the Maynard Fire Department, we agreed to direct the fundraiser toward helping Barneveld rebuild. The grill island is currently on display at Riverside Pools for anyone who’d like to see it in person. It means a lot to be part of something that brings people together in a time of need.”
