Mohawk Valley Community College is creating a direct pipeline between local residents and in-demand careers with its upcoming FastTrack Career Fair.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Alumni College Center (room 116) at the MVCC Utica Campus.
The fair is designed to connect students from the college’s innovative FastTrack program with employers from the region’s top sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, education, business, and the trades.
A “Fast Track” to a New Career
MVCC’s FastTrack program has been a vital resource for the community, offering short-term, no-cost training that equips students with job-ready skills in a single semester.
The program’s mission is to help individuals transition from unemployment or low-wage jobs into skilled positions with long-term potential. It provides personalized instruction from industry professionals and holistic support services to help participants launch their new careers.
Meet Employers and Explore Opportunities
The Nov. 12 career fair is open to all past, present, and prospective FastTrack students.
Attendees will have the chance to network and discuss specific career paths, such as:
- Teacher Assistant
- Security Guard
- Bookkeeper
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Dental Assistant
- …and more.
Participants are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume. Resumes can be shared with potential employers and will also serve as an entry for a door prize drawing. Light refreshments will be available.
