Rome, NY – Mohawk Valley EDGE announces the addition of two new staff members and promotions of existing staff to key leadership roles
Jeff Rehler has been appointed as the Senior Economic Development Planner with EDGE. Jeff will provide site analysis expertise and oversee significant development projects. Jeff holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Buffalo and previously worked at the Oneida County Planning Department.
Jenna Decker joins us as Program Manager, responsible for business attraction and grant programs. Jenna studied accounting and finance at MVCC and Intelligence Analysis at Utica University and previously worked for the Department of Defense and Microsoft.
Tim Fitzgerald has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Economic Development. He started as an intern with EDGE in 2011 and has advanced through various roles. He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Binghamton University and has been instrumental in grant and business assistance initiatives.
Marc Barraco has been designated Chief of Staff, reporting directly to President Shawna Papale. Marc joined Mohawk Valley EDGE in May 2024 as Vice President of Economic Development, focusing on strategic initiatives and governmental affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Information Design from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
